TCC Governance: Student Success Committee
Purpose
To review and recommend policy designed to help students achieve
success during their college experience. To make recommendations on admissions,
records, registration, financial aid, and recruitment policies. To consider
matters of student life which relate to conduct, student development, student
organizations, student government, orientation, intramural athletics and other
student activities. Reports through the Vice President for Academic and Student
Affairs.
The Charge
- Review the Student Success Committee End-of-Year Report for 2007-08, to take note of past actions and accomplishments and to identify items that are unfinished business and recommended to be addressed in the current year.
- Research literature, identify best practices, and provide input into the development of a more comprehensive academic advising system at TCC.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of the first year response to the SWOT analysis of Student Activities at TCC.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of the first year response to the SWOT analysis of Student Services at TCC.
