ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATION:
HOMEPAGE
"Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world." ~ Joel Barker
***Constitutional Amendment to Section V***
In continuation of the successful amendments to Sections III and IV, 94% of voting members approved the proposed amendment to Section V (Elections). The next step is for the membership to consider and vote on a proposed amendment to Section VI (Meetings) which will be emailed to the general membership in the coming days.
***Membership Survey Results***
The majority of respondents at least somewhat supported the concepts of an administrator book club, walking club, and seminar series. However, levels of support for the book and walking clubs declined between 16%-21% when asked about participation. Another finding was that 84% of respondents were at least somewhat interested in a professional development day as opposed to a series. The next step is for the Chair, with the assistance of the Executive Committee, to consider action based on the survey results.
***2nd Professional Development Application Window***
No applications were submitted during the second 4-week application window which was open between October 20 and November 17. The next step is for the Chair, with the assistance of the Executive Committee, to consider options in disbursing the remaining balance of $2,805.64 in Administrator Professional Development Funds.
