The Job Skills Training Program (JSTP) has developed a comprehensive approach to job skills training and job placement for individuals with barriers to employment.
 
JSTP partners work with social service and community agencies, the business community and industry sectors to provide intensive counseling, job internships, workforce readiness training and job follow-up.
 

Program Features

• Employer assistance in developing job-related curriculum

• Workforce readiness training

• Intensive individual and group counseling

• Classroom training simulates work environment

• On the job real-work internships.

• Program seeks only employers offering full-time positions with   

   benefits and the opportunity for advancement.

• Twelve month, post employment follow-up with the employers 

   and graduates on the job site
