If a student is recalled
for deployment and has to leave the area quickly, the student
may contact:

Contact TCC
Deans of Students
The student needs to provide the dean with name, social security number, and fax (or mail) a copy of
their military orders or provide a document indicating he or she
must leave the area for service or is otherwise unavailable to
attend classes.

Contact the TCC Information Center or Advisor On-Call
If the student cannot
reach the Campus Dean, he or she should call the college's Information
Center at 757-822-1122 (fax: 757-822-1369) or submit information using the Advisor On-Call online form https://www.tcc.edu/secure/forms/online_advisor.php
The student should include the following information:
- his or her name,
- social security number, and
fax (or mail)
- a copy of the military orders or
- provide a document
indicating that the student must leave the area for service.
The
Information Center staff or Advisor On-Call will confirm the student's campus, list
the classes, and forward all information to the appropriate campus
dean for needed action.
