Tricia Hudson-Childers joined TCC in February 2008 as the Director of Development.  Previously, she was employed by Virginia Wesleyan College (VWC) where she consecutively served as director of annual giving and director of development. Prior to VWC she worked for the American Heart Association (AHA) including as regional director in New Jersey and director of development in Richmond. Before her AHA work, she served as a development coordinator for the American Red Cross.

Her experience includes developing strategies for fund-raising campaigns and managing large portfolios of corporate, individual and foundation prospects. Tricia Hudson-Childers holds a bachelor’s degree in government and politics from George Mason University and belongs to the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Junior League of Hampton Roads.

Sara Pantazes joined TCC in May 2008 as the Associate Director of Development.  Sara's responsibilities include managing a portfolio of corporate, foundation and individual prospects, writing and producing the Campaign Connection newsletter, running TCC's Faculty & Staff Campaign, and assisting in Educational Foundation event planning.  Previously she worked at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC as a Development Associate where she focused primarily on prospect research.  Sara holds a bachelor's degree in history from the College of William & Mary. 

Stacy E. Nixon

Stacy Nixon came to TCC in June 2008 as the Development Officer, primary responsibilities include prospect research, management of a prospect portfolio, maintaining the foundation website, and assisting with event planning. Prior to TCC, Stacy worked at Centre College in Danville, KY as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving. Outside of her experience in development, Stacy worked in student affairs at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.

Stacy’s experience includes strategic planning, staff recruitment and training, developing annual fund solicitation strategies, prospect management, prospect research, and event planning.  Currently, Stacy is working towards her Ph.D in Higher Education at Old Dominion University. Stacy holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from EKU and bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia.

Marcel Hart joined TCC in November 1997 and currently holds the position of Assistant to the Director of Development. Primary responsibilities include management of the development office, maintaining the Raiser’s Edge database, and supporting the activities of the Development Office staff and the Educational Foundation.
