NNSY/TCC APPRENTICE PROGRAM LINKS

The NNSY/TCC Cooperative Education Apprentice Program provides selected students the opportunity to begin earning full-time, competitive wages while learning a skilled trade and earning a certificate
or Associate of Applied Science degree through Tidewater Community College.
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard’s Apprentice program is a four-year Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) designed to attract students to a rewarding career in federal public service. Apprentices participate in a vigorous training program, which combines NNSY's trade theory training, on-the-job work experience and academic coursework through Tidewater Community College. Graduates complete the program as skilled journeypersons. Graduates can also earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Tidewater Community College.
